I like Laura Vitale's version better. Haven't tried it yet, but I am definitely going to soon. Just wrote down the recipe on a piece of paper just now.
I cooked the shells according to the directions on the box and that was a big mistake. I found them flimsy and it was hard to spoon in the stuffing. I had to pipe it in. The next time I cooked this dish, I cooked the shells about half the recommended time on the box and they were still firm enough to easily spoon in the stuffing. The shells finished cooking with everything else in the oven and it turned out great.

I prefer to use ricotta, FRESH Italian, (flat leaf) parsley & just a touch of nutmeg.

I make this recipe a lot I prefer ricotta cheese and also using marinara sweet and tangy otherwise it comes out tasting like a fancy spaghetti when you use spaghetti sauce
