Sticky toffee pudding is usually served with vanilla custard (which is creme anglaise), lol, trying to make sticky toffee pudding sound fancy – it's an everyman desert, ain't nothing fancy about it, but it's delicious. How are stove top kettles still a thing, electric ones are so much faster, cost about the same and are generally easier to fill. Can't imagine living in a house without an electric kettle
