The rib meat is my favorite part of the breast. Not cutting it off. Do like the point about cutting it in half though. Plus, cutting it in half gets more of the delicious crunchy crust.

After the chickens coated and being fried I like to combine the dredge and the batter, add in some baking powder, and fry that up too. Its kind of like hush puppies. Why waste it

I look at a lot of cooking videos and I am amazed and perplexed at the fact they (cooking influencers) as detailed as they claim to be for some reason they never mention they TYPE of OIL they used. The type of oil definitely matters when frying anything. I see this time and time again. They are so detailed and specific about every part of the recipe EXCEPT the oil!!!!! 🙄

A recipe that calls itself "super crunchy" but recommends trimming off excess fat is sacrilegious in the whole of the South, where people wasted nothing. The whole thing is a guilty pleasure comfort soul food, if its about making it healthier, eat it with a salad.
