How To Make Taro Bubble Tea | Smoothie Recipe

Do you love Taro Bubble Tea? My smoothie recipe uses real Taro root vs. artificial taro powder. While I like the flavor of taro powder, it’s nice to have REAL taro every now and then. Luckily this bubble tea flavor is really easy to make. Get the Full Printable Recipe & Extra Tips on my website:

Ingredients:
– 1 cube of taro root
– 1/4 – 1/3 cup of milk
– 1/4 cup of filtered water
– 1 cup of ice cubes
– 1.5 ~ 2 Tbsp. Organic cane sugar
– 1/2 Tbsp. non-dairy creamer (powdered)

I’m using a Vitamix personal size blender in this video:

  1. Just made this and it tastes so fresh and nutty and rooty! You really do need just a cube of the taro. The taro I found were very small and barely had any purple strains throughout. While they turned a little purple after cooking it didn't really color the drink. I might try 2 cubes next time and maybe just a little juice from some blueberries. But as is, the recipe is quite delicious. I LOVE a blended taro drink, so finding a method that's just as indulgent but much healthier and fresher tasting makes me so happy! Thank you!
