I like the blueberries, too much sugar for me . Also, I like less wheat flour and more corn. That's why they make "vanilla, chocolate, AND strawberry"
Americas test kitchen… I know you can't control the ads you tube sells. But just before I watched this video. The opening line of the ad was "AMERICA HAS FAILED" it was a fear mongering click bait political ad that had nothing to do with blueberry cornbread. I'm sure you have enough clout to sugest to management the YouTube AI get its act together. Until then I'll just tell my phone to never recomend your channel. I dont need hateful nonsense being forced down my throat. If AMERICA HAS FAILED… then America's test kitchen has failed. And doesnt deserve my time.
I made this and it’s awesome and definitely a keeper! Super recipe. Thank you.
Made Dan Souza’s dumplings receipt my dumplings need practice but the meat was tasty. Tomorrow I’ll try Ashley’s blueberry corn bread, will keep you posted coz I’m no baker 🥺

I love Ashley…..I look forward to when she comes on.
I think they need to stop and help that guy with that onion in the background 🤣
Interesting. Not the 3/4 cup white sugar concerned about, though again, most cornbread recipes call for a bit of sugar ( not corn cake ) as they went back & forth about.
But…Isn’t 1 1/2 Cups an awful lot of butter to amount of flour and sugar? Old Fannie Farmer I got in last millenium calls for 2 Tablespoons, melted. Sub something? Oil or applesauce.
Hi, could you please show us how do you measure table soppy butter , we live in uk , I like to follow your lovely recipes but can’t as I don’t know the measurements, thanks 🙏
Looks great something I definitely want to give a go thanks so much .♥️🎁♥️
OMG… 🤤
So well done. Can always count on the the ladies😊🙏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Notice they said to use fresh Blueberries and not FROZEN…I used frozen the first time and the Cornbread turned blue… it was still good but looked odd. from then out, its fresh. I like the idea of dusting them with some flour so they dont sink to the bottom. and yes, put it in a black iron skillet for sure!!!
Hi guys!! In Greece we use Celcius temperatures and grams. Would it be possible to mention Celcius and grams? Thanks
I replaced the honey with maple syrup. 😋😋😋
Oh Ashley I enjoy your cooks so much. So I have a tip too. Take a teaspoon full of flour( or a little more) and mix with the blue berries and you will get a more uniform distribution of berries in the cooking process. Thanks for this great cornbread recipe that is very useful.
Shout out to the background homie struggling with peeling that onion like the whole beginning. Finally got it done and chopped by the end though, good job sir.
great recipe, thanks
I've been making that version of cornbread for the longest but instead of blueberries I always use raspberries I also love Strawberry Shortcake but in my version I love buttermilk cake and I always dust My Pan with granulated white sugar. My strawberries are infused with basil, my Strawberry Shortcake's come out so good. I've been doing that butter honey with cornbread combo for the longest to. If you never had you should try CUSTARD cornbread and no its NOT spoon bread.
If I'm eliminating the blueberries to serve it with chili, should I still dust the top with sugar?
Absolutely delicious!👍👌🌽
So you use unsalted butter and add salt? I use salted butter to my butter from absorbing refrigerator flavors.
Just made this, it was terrific. I was concerned for all the sugar that was in it, but it was fine.
Can the flour be replaced with almond flour? Would like to make a gluten free version of this. Thanks
