  1. Boy, I wish I would have found your video yesterday. Everything you said happen to my batch of cookies last night. I used too much peanut butter thinking it will make the cookies more rich and flavorable, and they came out dry and crumbly because I did exactly what you said NOT TO DO…lol. Thank You as I will be now using your recipe from now on.

  2. She added the water for extra moisture. The peanuts will give the cookie some crunch. She should have used softened butter instead of melted. If the tempature of the oven bakes them to slow they will spread out more making them less chewy. The eggs whites she added tends to dry the cookie out. You could try one egg with just the yoke and one with the whole egg.

Contrary to popular belief, cooking is not a science. One might think so because of the measurements. The key to great food is trial and error. Great cooks are not born, nor taught in a cooking school. Experience is the best teacher. Had she not added the honey, she would not have had to add the peanuts. The flavor of the honey over powers the flavor of the peanut butter.

I would have suggested 2 tsp of maple syurp rather than the honey. If you look at those cookies, it was moreover the thickness that made them chewy. I have seen some youtube demonstrations where the "cookies" were 2 inchs or more in height. Those are not cookies, they as mini cakes.

Great food is about taste, not how flavorable it may be. 9 times out of 10, people tend to over season their food. Whereby all they taste is the seasoning and not the food itself. For others…they want it to be delicious, but they sacrifice taste for presentation. That looks yummy, that is a work of art. In the end, no matter how elegant or beautiful the presentation may be. It all looks the same by the time it hits your stomach. I'm 54 years old and have been cooking daily for 42 years. I think during that time, i've learned a thing or two. Ps…i did try her recipe, it was edible, but i was not impressed or pleased.

  3. These are now my go-to peanut butter cookie! Chewy and delish!

    1) If you don’t have the “Adjust-a-cup”, coat your utensils with cooking spray before measuring the peanut butter and honey. The food will come out easy and cleaner.

    2) The dough looks very wet/oily as compared to other cookie doughs.

    3) I used a #40 (1.5 TBSP) scoop and baked 10 minutes. Cookies were between 2.5”-3” wide. Perfect!

    4) 4:50 why bother rolling the cookies into a ball when you’re just going to turn around and flatten them out?

    5) Finally, the bottom of my 1/4 cup measure is almost exactly 2” wide. I just pressed the cookies down with the measuring cup until I saw the edge of the dough around the bottom of the cup. Perfect!

  4. I made these cookies and used high quality ingredients. Not sure if I liked them as they were bland. Was I supposed to put white sugar? I used organic raw honey and brown sugar too!

  5. y'all make sure to use LIGHT brown sugar, NOT dark brown sugar.
i made this recipe 3 times now and the first 2 times i could not figure out why mine didn't look like hers or seem to have the right texture. this third time they turned out perfectly. i was racking my brain trying to figure out what was different… this time i used light brown sugar because i ran out of dark brown sugar. the only difference. and voila. perfect cookies.

  7. Now I know what I've been doing wrong with peanut butter cookies, my fav are when they are chewy..I really like those cup holder pushy things you used..lol..I love most cookies that are chewy but they don't always turn out like that. Can't wait to try this recipe. One of my fav peanut butter cookies is Tim Horton's because they are chewy.
