I would thicken the sauce with a lovely beurre maniè.
No exaggeration when I tell you, my husband picked up his plate and licked it 😂
Don’t buy garlic from China. You don’t know what soil it was grown in.
They have to call out “I’m washing my hands” because they know how stupid people are
That orange cake looks terrific, but I'm the only one in my family who loves oranges. So I guess I'm making for myself.
For Lawman's cake I'd open the orange slices expanding between each "wedge" to create a kaleidoscope or stained glass effect (Basically making short ribbons of attached wedges)
This will take a bit of patience arranging it this way but will display very nicely when done.
Saw my Grandmother do this for Christmas and Easter back in the 60s.
🙏Blessings to everyone 💞
It'll be nice if you guys right the spice and amount in a corner. Love the recipes.
I made this, with 40 heads of garlic, and it was the garliciest thing I've ever had in my life.
Julia shakes garlic like Jackie Gleason dances.
With the upside down cake, can you use plain yogurt instead of sour cream?
Made this–delicious–lovely gravy–garlic clove heaven!
That garlic was completely done. Qiut lying to people for your recipe!
Love at first bite! Pass the Altoids please.
It is better to leave all the garlic unpeeled and cook it "skin on". This prevents the garlic from burning and it remains moist and creamy.
this looks awesome….
So much unnecessary additional garbage on appliances anymore.
Just made this. I used my iron skillet. It was SO good!
Thanks for this video. I will have to try this. I also really like poultry seasoning with pork.
So yummy!!
I know I can substitute a "plant butter" for the butter with little ill effect to my baked goods but what would be an appropriate non-dairy substitute for the sour cream in the Orange Upside Down Cake for those who can't tolerate dairy?
