Cake cooked in a Teflon pan….nothing healthy there. Please start cooking healthy foods that don't contain gluten or animal products. Americans are all sick and fat from this stuff. Just eat fresh fruits and veggies and nuts and seeds and berries and melons. Let's all heal ourselves and the planet.
What temperature are they using?
Julia's daughter's name is Marta. That's a coincidence since my wif'e name is Kaye Marta. I found her down isle 9 in the Housewares Dept.at Kmart, and just had to marry her. THUMBS UP!!!
I stopped and watch you all the time when I see you yous are so cool and your recipes are so great thank you
I put peanut butter on my pancakes and add some of my favorite preserves and butter all while the pancakes are hot. Just use your imagination. I love pancake and waffles.
O
Only use/purchase ALUMINUM-FREE Baking Powder to avoid the metallic after-taste. Don't say, I didn't warn you.
Real flippers know you have to make the test pancake first.
Is that syrup cold?
Converted this recipe to an "instant mix" that I am quite happy with. Doubled the recipe, replaced "wet ingredients" with powdered eggs, buttermilk powder, & cut-in shortening, in place of the oil. So when preparing, only have to add water to cake batter consistency, & let sit 10 minutes, per your suggestion. Tried the mix out today, & they came out PERFECT!
Thanks for sharing a GOOD pancake recipe, as so often the pancake recipes I find online "fall flat", both literally & figuratively!
I didnt add vanilla, since I dont currently have any vanilla powder, so just leaving that as an optional add-in. I like my pancakes fine without vanilla anyhoo.
This is my grandmother Gracie’s pancake recipe from the 1940s. Only difference is melted butter instead of vegetable oil. Didn’t just come along, lol. It was here long before me and you.😉 The biggest reason for not over-mixing, is it does something to the gluten and the taste becomes awful.
What's the difference between leavener and baking soda?
Crap
instead of oil I use butter
You are silly. The easiest pancakes ever come from a box, and require only water. Those exist. Bad title.
great vid, right to the point and i liked the uniformity. one thing for us though, we put butter on the bottom as well as in between each pancake; another variation is we heat the syrup with butter in the microwave or small saucepan on the stove so when we pour it, it's nice and hot. just our way. again, great vid!!
Made this recipe but changed out the oil for butter and omitted the vanilla (too cakey) and it was scrumptious!
Can I use buttermilk instead?
And the same amount of buttermilk?
Thanks
our family recipe since the 50's
I make mine the same but no sugar or salt and only one egg yoke, and almond or coconut milk no dairy.
The extra baking powder is the key. I accidentally added double the BP to waffle mix recently. Made the waffles much lighter, better.
They give you a link to the recipe but it's blurred put unless you join. What kind of crap is this!!? 😠
🎉smart chefs. Exceptional entertainers! Thank you ladies.
When I see someone butter a pan, I immediately realize they don’t know how to make pancakes.
Hello ❤️❤️⭐️⭐️
Nice recipe, but I don't have time to make it while getting ready for work in the morning.
that chuckle after she said 4-6 people. I felt that. LOL.
The baking soda made these too bitter. The "tang" was not good.
Thank you, this is what I’ve been looking for.
you have to pay for the recipe on their website 😕
