  1. Hi there you’re actually wrong, if you leave salt on your pork skin overnight it will draw the moisture out of the skin. And the less moisture there is the crispier the pork skin 😋 love this recipe! YUM

    May I just suggest that cos pork crackling is so healthy if you eat low carb or carnivore that if you want healthy, don't use olive oil at those temperatures. The smoke point – the point at which oil become poisonous chains of hydrogenation-olive oils smoke point is 375 to 405f, rather low. Rub in pork fat, or any animal fat. The maker meant us good when he made saturated animal fat have a very high smoke point avocado oils good too.
    Also consider (and this is all new to me and I just got healthy from fatty liver and obesity so I don't mean to sound like a smart arse, sorry) never use anything called 'vegetable oil or seed oil' again please
    Those things are made from husks and seed hulls and are full of fat too many omega 6s and all the round up or other garbage they've sprayed on 1000 cornstalks and then those 1000 cornstalks – not even corn, the stalks, the garbage-is used to make 5 tbsp of oil, so you get all the round up or sprays they had put on that many corn cobs all in one pan. Yuck.
    Nature made food good. Man spoils it.

    (Ps you'll lose weight with healthy oils cos they're omega 3 rich too and all that other garbage oils and omega 6 rich. We need less of that. It's good news. Cracklins and bacon are good for us!!!!
