This is my kind of salad!
Meat too rare for me, looks like a bloody mess, not appealing to me. Supposed to be good but I can’t .
Diced tomato, diced hard boiled egg, salt or feta cheese. Simple and yum.
Tomatoe sandwiches with sourdough tosted bread yum 😋 and basil with olive oil of course ! My son also eats them like there apples , I always have to put an extra one in my cart ( so they can ring me up for the one he ate ) because he will eat one through the store ..
That's Wagu beef, you can tell by the marbling — not a common or affordable "steak tip". Deception. But, the summer salad is nice.
It's not clear from the recipe if you add the spices before or after you put it in the oven
👍
II've been a huge fan since before you started the TV Series. I have very seldom encountered a failed recipe! I want to try this recipe but it sure would be nice if you provided open link to the "Spiced Roasted Chickpeas" recipe. Thank you for years of fantastic recipes!
Dinner tomorrow. I love tomatoes, salt, pepper, and cottage cheese for breakfast!
What about the white onions and vinegar
Ashley, don't you get canker sores in your mouth from all those tomatoes? If not, you're FORTUNATE!
Where do you even find flap meat that thick? Whenever I think I lucked out and got a nice, thick cut it always turns out that its folded over itself several times and is actually only like a quarter inch thick 😑
Hell yeah
My dinner for tonight. Thank you.
Most recent favourite way to eat summer tomatoes was marinating them in olive oil and red wine vinegar and shingling them on a small baguette that had been set under the broiler with some spicy oil and slices of fresh mozzarella. I felt like I needed a shower afterward, but it was delicious! ☺
Panzanella is my favorite tomato jam 🙂
What a great recipe! So simple. My favorite way to eat fresh garden tomatoes is to take the salt shaker out to the garden and pick, sprinkle, bite 🙂 Cheers!!!
I wonder why she's alone.. probably she doesnt get along with others?
The salad 🥗 looks gorgeous to dig in but I’d replace it with chicken 🍗
I like heirloom tomatoes with herbed goat cheese on crostini
This looks amazing! I am going to try this with watercress! I can't wait!
Thick slice (~ 1/2" )of heirloom tomato, on lightly toasted bread, slather of Duke's mayo, sprinkle of Season-all…celebrate the summer!
Thank you for sharing that. Perfect way of enjoying summertime tomatoes? Yes, I agree with your son. Sometimes it's so lovely to eat them straight off the vine right there in the garden. But I love them too in a simple mozzarella and basil salad or a Thai beef salad.
I can't wait to make this! Thank you for sharing! My fave way to eat tomatoes from the garden is as a side dish with some fresh from the garden cucumber slices, a lil apple cider vinegar, a lil water, a lil sugar, a dash of salt, a dash of pepper and Bob's your uncle! YUM. Just the way my mum always served them in July and August. ♥️
that's a big Salad for 1 Person
Just got back from the grocery store , that's about $100 worth of steak. I'll be enjoying this salad vicariously by watching it only
Hello ATK
Salutations from California 😋🍅
My favorite way to enjoy Summertime tomatoes; pick one out of the garden—still warm from the sun—-slice it up and put a couple of slices between two pieces of white Wonder Bread with a bit of salt and mayo……very simple but it's sooo delicious!
That looks lovely. . . I like to make southern tomato pie with lots of cheeses and herbs.
Definitely trying this real soon. Looks great.
I’ll definitely be making this awesome salad, would love to know what spices you used on the chickpeas?
This looks amazing! I've been doing caprese salads and am looking forward to tomato pie!
The salad looks yummy-I have tons of ripe garden tomatoes I need to use and some of them are going in this salad.
I'd like to know where to find the bowls and serving bowl, please.
