  1. I used this tonight when I made garlic knots. INCREDIBLE!! Thanks, you guys. I tell anyone who will listen that ATK's recipes are always SPOT ON! So, who at ATK is going to start doing some more vegan videos? <<wink-wink>>

  2. Ingredients
    • 1 tbsp green olives, patted dry and then chopped
    • 3/4 cup raw cashews
    • 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
    • 2 tbsp raw pine nuts
    • 3/4 tsp Salt
    Preparation Steps
    1. Preheat oven to 275F and move rack to center of oven.
    2. Combine ingredients in food processor and process for 1 minute, scraping sides as needed.
    3. Spread the finely ground mixture on a rimmed baking sheet in an even layer.
    4. Bake for about ten minutes. Stir mixture and rotate pan and bake for an additional ten minutes until the mixture is light golden and dry.
    5. Let mixture cool completely at least ten minutes. Break up any clumps. Store in an airtight container in fridge up to one month.

  3. Cheese is one of my favorite foods but dairy has recently started to cause me some very uncomfortable and life-interrupting GI symptoms. I look forward to trying this out next time we have pasta. I hope you guys will continue to explore more vegan recipes, you are a brand that I trust to have figured out the best tasting way to do everything.

  4. dairy/hard cheeses cause me to break out in hives and pretty significant vomiting (among other GI symptoms) so i'm happy that you guys are coming out with more vegan options! adding olives is an interesting idea! i've not seen that before.

  5. The whole point of being vegan is to avoid the suffering of living creatures … yet they use "nutritional yeast" which … is a living creature. It's incredibly tiny, but it's alive. It eats, it poops, and it multiplies. Seems kinda hypocritical to me…
