I'm having a taco buffet for a celebration party for my daughter who is going off to college and this would be perfect drink on the buffet!
add 1/4 to 1/2 cup vodka, mix and freeze and you get an excellent watermelon sorbet.
Get a filter for your faucet and ditch the bottled water 😉
🍉🍋INGREDIENTS🍋🍉
-8 cups chopped watermelon
-2 cups water
-2 tablespoons agave syrup OR honey
-"hefty" pinch salt
-¼ cup (or more) lime juice
to serve:
-ice
-mint sprigs

Stick of the watermelon itself in the pickle juice after 2-3 days… are to die for! Keep adding and keep tasting the juice — replenish salt as needed 😄

Excellent! Overripe watermelon is a texture nightmare but works perfectly here! Also freeze the chunks, put in the blender with some sweetener and viola watermelon sorbet!

This reminds me of spending my summers in Mexico as a kid, drinking aguas frescas of all flavors, but getting a cold mango on a stick with salt, lime juice, and chilly powder (Tajin) was the best. I would eat and drink myself sick and then eat and drink some more.
