  1. I made the mistake ONCE of getting 93% lean frozen burgers patties. I tried cooking the first patty. It was so lean that it more burned than cook. The remaining burgers reguired a pat of butter to cook. They were excellent!
    By the way AMEN!!!

  3. Uhhh cooked onions are nasty & slimy, I would only want a complete thin slice of raw onion on my burger & I would also never eat any meat that has a crispy layer of crust from frying or burnt edges! I might try the butter but put the butter on the meat so it could soak in, the way you did it you put the butter on top of the cheese, no way it could soak into the meat but only give you a mushy wet bun top & the bottom bun sitting in butter!

  4. This woman thinks that seasoning in terms of the coating on the flat top grill is the same as seasoning food with salt and pepper?!

Come on America’s Test Kitchen, please don’t insult us with presenters who don’t have a clue what they’re talking about…

  5. I've always made them like this which I learned from my father!! He's a Kentucky man that's been making them for 70 years!!! I lived in Wisconsin and had dairy farm. The neighbor had a grdaughter that I watched a couple hours in the morning . The first time her grandmother went to fix her toast she wanted it for fixed like mine and when she called and ask how I fix my toast I laughed my butt off. I just spread butter on top then broil it!! So its not toasted on both side and already had the butter on it!! When Culvers first opened I really couldn't believe that that was so special!! Lol

  6. I don't believe you guys actually found a recipe that didn't use any damn garlic. Normally you use it in everything. Today we will make chocolate fudge first mince 7 gloves of garlic add it to 6 bars of melted chocolate cook for 3 minutes stirring constantly, now add a quarter pound of chopped walnuts and 8 cloves of chopped garlic, etc. Serve on a bed of sliced garlic. You guys are ridiculous with the damn garlic. Believe it or not a lot of older folks can't tolerate garlic. Anyway congrats of finally making a garlic free dish.
