How to make Yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) 〜焼肉〜 | easy Japanese home cooking recipe



In this video, I am showing how to make Yakiniku or Japanese style BBQ. I am also using a special Yakiniku Griddle (Yakiniku plate), but this can also be done with regular frying pan.

In my Channel, I show step by step of alternative but authentic Japanese home cooking, which can be made with the ingredients that are easily available outside of Japan.

Ingredients for Yakiniku Sauce (Tare):
– Beef 100 g
– Apple 1/2
– Onion 1/2 – 1
– Soy sauce 5 Tbsp
– Sugar 1 Tbsp
– Ginger 5-10 g
– Garlic 1 Clove
– Sesame oil 1-2 Tsp
– Sesame seeds (roasted)
– Chilli pepper (optional)

Other possible Yakiniku Ingredients:
– Meat of your choice (Beef, Pork, Chicken, Lamb)
– Vegetable of your choice (Cabbage, Carrot, Mushrooms, Bean sprouts, Onion, Zuccini, Eggplant, Pumpkin etc.)

  1. Thank you for this. I have one of those pans, but I didn't realize that you needed to put water into the ring. It came with no instructions, UGH! Now, you were grilling indoors. Didn't your fire alarm go off, or did your room fill with smoke? That's what happened when I used mine indoors, so I have only been using it in the summer outside.
