Most already know this but it's useful information.
For some fruits it doesn't apply (especially when it's controversial between fruit/vegetable, like watermelons, etc.) Those are bad when too watery. But when it comes to citrus I'd trust him because of the shirt!
It equates to weight until you put it in measuring cup and then it is equates to volume
