Good to see this.

I usually cut skin side up. We had knives that were dull for the longest, so we couldn't cut through the skin otherwise. I'll have to try it next time, good tips.
great tip
Beautifully done. ,thank you.
Finally yahoo
Too slow.
Thanks
made it look so simple. Great video!
These simple how to videos are great!!!
Lol. I already cut this way without realizing it was like a pro
Thank you my dear.
I saw the episode on Shrimp Scampi which looked so good!
Nevertheless, thanks for the tips on chopping bell peppers. 🙂
This is possibly one of the most inefficient methods possible.
Thanks!
Awesome will be using this tip. Keep em coming.
Love the tips. thanks
Thank you for this awesome tip. I made jambalaya yesterday and this would have come in hand when cutting my bell peppers for the trinity. Thank you again.
Keep the tips a coming ! I get to learn something new every time
I used this method today and loved it. The only thing I did differently was to cut the pepper in half after the pith was removed and stacked it so I could cut 2 planks at a time. Handy method. Thanks!
Elle,
Nice clear presentation. Logical and easy.
As a life long self taught cook I was hoping for more.
Are there plans for tips for us cooks that have a few years of experience under our belts? What about a format that shows easy, medium and experienced levels? Something for everyone.
Since the changes at ATK I've been very generous with my compliments. I like the new energy and openness in your programming. Don't slow down now! There is still much to be taught and learned.
What about how to prepare stuffed peppers?
0:31 Don't slice TOWARD your hand unless you're fine with the knife going INTO your hand.
Elle, I love your contributions, keep it up!
If you cut close enough to the curve on top most times you can just pop out the stem instead of cutting around it.
Do an onion next, please. I can cut them just fine, but I actually don't know how many layers to peel off first, and end up with a tougher end piece that slides and doesn't cut.
Wow this is insulting. Isn't this just common sense?
great tip!
Simple and yet a powerfull vid. Nice.
For years I butchered peppers then I saw a Gordon Ramsay video and mimicked him for a few years but this is even simpler
Its great thank you
Excellent tips! Thank you!
I’ve been cutting them upside down. This entire time.
Next video: meaking tea?
Fabulous..
& "Hit that subscriber button below" sounds good, nice going ATK! 🙂
I've cooked for years and didn't know about this tip. Thanks! Please ignore some of the comments, if people were aware of this method, why are they watching the video?
That's genius! I'm going to try that for the next peppers I cook
