Can you do this on a pellet grill
spraying oil everywhere seems kinda excessive. It wont ruse as long as there is paint on it…
Don't turn it up fully just put it on low heat
Thank you!
warning, I tried this on my brand new grill and it erupted in flames and almost blew up
I'm about to this, but the spray oil didn't say high heat, i couldn't find any worried about a fire
Can you spray with something other than canola or vegatablw oil? That stuff is poison
Very helpful. Just bought a new grill and I didnt wash off my grates before this process. Is that a problem?
Nice video!
awww that's sad i hope all is well with you bud
i like your comments. I'm getting my new grill soon and i will try it if i love it you got a new subscriber bro 😎
Thanks so much for this. Appreciate it. ps When you are off camera and narrating…I swear I am hearing Elvis Presley talking/teaching me how to season my new bbq! 🙂
Thanks
that is not a grill, that is a bbq…
Chargrill says to heat the grill first and then add the veggie oil spray. Does it matter?
The assembly instructions were easy to follow. I have only used it once since assembly andam very satisfied. Heats up quickly and cooks evenly. I would suggest to anyone to use a #2 and #3 Phillips magnetic screwdriver to ease assembly.
Thanks for doing this video! It definitely helped!!
Chargriller will recommend 200 degrees for 2 hours….not screaming hot
I brought my grill 4 years ago but was just too lazy to assemble it. I finally assembled it last week and read it the manual to cure the grill????😢 Well, well, I watched your video, which made the process seamless. It is very easy to follow. Thanks. I'm happy for your video. 🎉😊😊
Wow all of this time me grilling, I didn’t know you can do this to stainless grill grates. I have 2 bbq one portable with cast iron grates which looks like new since I knew about how to seasoned it, but my main bbq is stainless and it is degrading faster. Thanks for the tip
Do you do this at the beginning of every grilling season also?.
I'm going 2 try THANKS
You didn't say with what temperature… Come on. Seriously Peanut oil? That would impart taste! Not cool man.
Is the inside of a stainless steel (silver) grill supposed to be a brown hue afterwards?
Been a while since I bought a new grill so I found this video. I followed these instructions to the letter and I had outstanding results seasoning my new char-griller grill. Thanks Brother for the great advise.
Be Blessed
Cool beans. Thanks brother.
Question: do I open or close the vents while curing?
Do I still oil the outside of the grill even if its stainless steel?
Omg thank you I had no idea you was suppose to season the grill I’m a first time grill owner browsing videos & yours showed up!
the word GRILL was used 87 times in this video
Bro… high temp oil breaks down at 470f do your seasoning is gonna burn off
This is an unbelievably silly seasoning procedure, but I went forward with it. Hope it helps.
thank you 👍👍
Thanks mate !
