That was soo yummy looking . 😜
I really enjoy these videos, but to try and make this bread is a waste for the home cook of time if it takes 2 days to make.
The soup would be great but I don't eat vegetables
Two days for bread! Plus the four hours of kneading!? Forget it!!
That soup looks absolutely amazing. I'd personally just omit the pasta since it's the only refined/processed ingredient in there and keep everything else. Between that amazing spread of vegetables and that fresh looking pistou, there's so much flavor to go around.
Why would you worry about "contaminating" the soap dispenser if your hands are already dirty before you touch it and then after you touch it they're clean? Shouldn't you be more concerned about what you dry your hands with?
Snooty French guy moment : it’s soupe au pistou, not soupe à pistou. And au sounds like “oh”, so “soup oh pee stew” haha
Becky’s soup looks delicious.
And I was very impressed with her French pronunciation, too.
Sorry, but you need to cut down on the time. bread shouldn't need almost two days of proofing
mmmmm sounds so good. We love soups at our home.
Could you not make this with 100% whole wheat with more water and added gluten?
A minor point but it drives me nuts when they scrape their teeth on the utensils while eating
I can't get enough of these saucy ladies.
I've really wanted to start making breads, but it seems I just cant wrap my head around the complicated time requirements! It's almost as if I have to map out a schedule backtracking
from the night I want the bread to be ready!
So I have to start this at 6pm on Monday if I want it for dinner on Wednesday? And I'll have to leave work at noon to allow for the rest times?
BIG RESPECT to bakeries and home bakers – one day I'll try, or if I'm lucky, a real bakery will open w/in a reasonable driving distance.
I made the soup last night. It was super easy to make and fast! Absolutely delicious!
Waw yammy and tasty recipes
"It just looks like a torn leaf."
Yep. That's what it looks like. A torn leaf.
It takes three days to make this bread, Lord. It would be nice if we could get the recipes featured on YouTube without paying for them through a subcription. Oh well.
Really delicious pistou soup. Used brown rice instead of pasta. Delicious. Thank you!
Isnt this a complete rip off of a martha stewart episode where patricia wells did the exact same two dishes?
The vegetable broth base is fantastic.
9:29 "Leaf"… ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Hello. I’ll see YOU later.
OK.
Hello.
I bought my mom a Simple Human soap dispenser, and she loved it, BUT, it only lasted about six months. BB&B replaced it for free, but the second one only lasted about six months… and the third. She finally gave up and went back to a pump dispenser.
Why use whole wheat flour if you’re just going to sieve out the bran?
Don’t worry about contaminating your soap dispenser…you’ll always wash your hands after touching it anyway! 🙂
That is a terrific vegetable soup that is healthy.
I am enjoying this show so much. I am glad that I recently discovered ATK.
Investing in crypto now should be in every wise individuals list, in some months time you'll be ecstatic with the decision you made today.
1:37 You could butcher a cow on that cutting board.
Christopher Kimball's Milk Street! Check that out, it's cooler!
So the stand mixer in the background at 1:19 – isn't that a bowl-lift stand mixer with a glass bowl that only works on a tilt-head model? Call me crazy because I'm confused
We had a wine tasting at our house and I made focaccia instead of boring crackers.
Wow that bread looks amazing and that soup too!!!
All purpose flour and not bread flour? Reason?
La fougasse, or la fougace is a specific bred from South East of France called la Provence. It is often salted. Very tasty!
Imagine how expensive the dispensers would have gotten if they posted this video at the BEGINNING of the pandemic 😳
the explanation starting at 3:15 was very well done. l appreciate a real explanation that you can learn from.
Upside down triangle????? It is still a triangle no matter which direction it is poised…so there IS NO Upside Down Triangle
That ending is so cringy
🤣💞 Hi There! 🤗 Julia, you changed out that style with collar up. It's fine. You look GREAT. Keep Smiling!
