Hyderabadi Palak Beef Masala | Palak Beef Gosht ki Mazedaar Recipe | Beef in Spinach Sauce | Palak Gosht Masala Recipe | Iftar Recipes

This recipe is a delicious combination of spinach cooked with meat and spices. This popular dish comes from the Indian city of Hyderabad, which is famous for its unusual foods. This spinach and meat dish is an incredible way to eat your veggies. The taste of spinach adds a kick to the meat masala. Serve this amazing dish with naan, roti, or even steamed rice.

NOTE :. We took 6 whistles on medium to low flame (to cook upto 70 %). After adding ground palak to the meat, we took 3 whistles more (to cook till tender). But the number of whistles depend on the quality of the meat you buy.

So here’s the recipe from my kitchen to yours.

Ingredients :

600 gms Beef (with little fat in it)
250 gms Palak (Spinach) – stalks removed
A handful of Coriander Leaves
3 tbsp Water

For Masala Paste :

2 medium size (200 gms) Onions (roughly chopped)
3 medium size (230 gms) Tomatoes (roughly chopped)
Coriander Leaves
1 inch (10 gms) Ginger (roughly chopped)
15 flakes (20 gms) Garlic
2 nos. Green Chillies (adjust as per your heat tolerance)
1 tsp Fennel Seeds (saunf)

Other Ingredients :

2 tbsp Vegetable Oil (We have used Sunflower Oil)
2 tbsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)
1 Bay Leaf
1 Cinnamon Stick
1 Black Cardamom
5 Green Cardamoms
4 to 5 Cloves
1 small size (80 gms) Onion (sliced)
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
½ tsp Roasted Cumin Seeds Powder (jeera powder)
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp Coriander Seeds Powder
½ tsp Salt (or as per taste)
3 tbsp Fresh Curd/Yogurt
100 ml Water
200 ml Water
1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
½ tsp Dry Fenugreek Leaves (Kasuri Methi) roasted & handcrushed
Few Coriander Leaves
Few Ginger Juliennes
1 tbsp Fresh Cream

Note : tsp is teaspoon
tbsp is tablespoon
