I Made a Fake Lacoste Pasta Ad

What if Lacoste made Pasta?

These are a few of my favorite things… Pasta, of course, but also tennis. When I was growing up, I stole one of my parent’s Lacoste wristbands from their workout bag because I loved the little crocodile. They found out, but still let me keep it. It was only later that I found out how cool and innovative a brand Lacoste has been through the years. This recipe idea just came from me wanting to have fun with a little 3d-Printed cookie cutter that I found on Etsy, and also fit some of my hobbies into a video. -Pasta Dough
–Making good pasta dough is about feel, so check out my Handmade Pasta Video for the detailed instructions, but for a starting point use…
300g-350g Flour
5 Egg Yolks
2 Large Eggs

–Add flour until the dough doesn’t stick to your hands anymore, and then knead as long as you can.

–Rest the dough under a bowl for 20 minutes before stretching thin.

-Spinach Dough
6oz Spinach 170g
2 Eggs
½ Tbsp Olive Oil
300g-350g Flour

—Blanch the spinach in boiling water for 30 seconds, then place it in cold water.

– Squeeze the spinach as dry as possible, then blend with the eggs and olive oil.

– Combine the wet and dry ingredients together and then follow the same steps as the regular dough.

– Cut little crocodiles out of both of the doughs and let them rest for 5-10 minutes in open air. This will get them a little hard so they don’t lose their shape too much when you layer them onto the base dough.

-Space out your ravioli and place a crocodile in the center of each one.

-Filling
16 oz Ricotta 454g
½ c Grated Parmesan
Salt (To Taste)
Pepper (To Taste)
Lemon Zest (To Taste)

-Mix all the filling together and just taste it… add stuff till you like it.

–Spread a thin layer onto a sheet of dough, then layer on the pattern dough and cut your ravioli.

–Cook for 2 minutes, then serve with any sauce you’d like.
