I Tested 3 PUMPKIN BREAD Recipes | Bon Appétit, NY Times Cooking, & Yossy Arefi



It’s pumpkin season ya’ll! I’m celebrating by trying out three different pumpkin bread recipes and letting you know which one was the BEST. I put Bon Appétit, NY Times Cooking, and Yossy Arefi’s recipes to the test.

  1. Thank you for making this video! I have been meaning to make the bon appetit recipe for a while. I have made Yossy's recipe about 5 times now-always a crowd pleaser! I made Bon Appetit's butter from Molly's recipe and slathered it on Yossy's bread- it elevates it one more notch!

    Would love it if you did a video for banana bread and zucchini bread.

  2. Appreciate all your hard word. Pumpkin bread is much better if you use part whole wheat, part white flour (I also sub about 1/2 cup of almond flour in a 3 cup recipe). Also much better and lighter if instead of all olive oil you also add 1/2c butter milk (or yogurt works fine) just to "break up" the oil. Else, last recipe looks yummy and I like the drizzle topping. Thanks!
