Most instant pot videos are confusing, because people never mention it’s NEVER 2 min – yes you set up pressure cook to 2min, but it takes like 10min for instantpot to get to the pressure point + like you said 5min release + 2min to release the air from the velve = the whole process is about 20min. I used to get so upset, I thought there’s something wrong with my instant pot, because in the videos the timer would start countdown and my instntpot was just showing ON.

I saw another video that said if you cover the steam being dispersed from the top of the instant pot with a rag you can void the warranty so just let it release the pressure normally without it being covered

I just tried this with pasta made from garbanzo beans. 8 oz pasta , 2 cups water, salt, and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Absolutely fantastic!
