We don’t make this every week, but I sure wish we did. It’s such a rich and tasty treat that it’s hard to keep in the house for long. The meat is super tender and buttery while the skin is crazy crispy. Soooooo much better than normal bacon.
Keep the seasonings and cooking liquid simple. You really want to let the deep pork flavor to shine through. This is great as a topping for ramen, rice and veggies, or just eat it by itself for a salty snack!
Today’s ingredients:
2 lbs pork belly
McCormick’s Spicy Montreal Seasoning
1 cup beer (lager)
avocado oil (or any high-heat cooking oil)

Thanks for sharing the recipe. The pork chunks came out very tender out of the Instant pot. I was not able to get them to stand (skin down) in my pan, but ill try less beer maybe next time
Thanks for this video! Iโve made it about 5 different times now ๐
I made this, this past weekend! It was really good and crispy. I had to bake them an additional 20 minutes to get the crispier crust. Thanks for this video! ๐๐ฝ
Hello. I'm making this today. Never had pork belly. Can you still get crispy skin without the cast iron and in the oven instead??
90 minutes in a pressure cooker!!!!???
Great video!
Itโs in the instapot now. Canโt wait.
This would be interesting to try with the AirFryer.
ANOTHER winner recipe from our creative chef here, whom is also a great video and audio editor. Thanks Bee
I accidentally put it skin down in the pressure cooker, haha! I forgot to flip it back over after seasoning it…๐ ๐
How was the texture, did it melt in your mouth?
Isnโt 90 mins too much?
What do you use the beer and oil for?
OH…YUM…GEE!!!
