Lisa, hope you included the Trader Joe oils – for your city area fans.
Bad sound quality.
I love the video on the best plastic and glass food storage for your pantry. Do you have a separate video on the best glass and plastic for lunch boxes? It may seem the sameas pantry storage but different purposes used for this type of food storage. Could you post a link? I couldn't find one in the playlists.
Did you record this with a toaster?
Is there a schedule for gear heads live online?
Volume is really really low!
But can you review toaster ovens sometime? Thanks!
Sound quality sucks. I'm sure your presentation was great otherwise.
Lisa and Hannah, Have you happened to do a test for the best electric knife? Tea sandwiches would be so much easier with one. There are so many to choose from that I’m lost. Thanks so much!
great concept; POOR audio
Butter can be left on the counter, My friends mom kept it on the counter all the time and nothing ever happened to them……..
Pay an audio person to help…not listenable or understandable. sad.
Gear heads is my fave videos from ATK.
Lisa ur videos are always awesome!!!
Hey love the tests, have u done one in past for food vacuum sealers? I cant find one! If not can u do one? Thanks!!
Yes, Lisa hit the nail on the head when she spoke of number of wires – she’d mentioned one model with only five and another with fifteen? I have a 1948 Toastmaster toaster whose wires are only 1/4” apart from each other – and that’s the real trick of a toaster – in order to evenly toast both sides of the bread, one needs enough high heat nearby – if the wires are too far apart you get stripes. Yes, I know big things or bagels won’t fit in mine well, but hey – least we forget there are toaster ovens out there – another very handy item in a well stocked kitchen. And the cord has been replaced with an original rayon wrapped gutta percha rubber insulation with an original Belson plug. The mechanical thermostat works fine and you can replace it if you need to. I like the idea that I can fix my own toaster. The fact that it’s 71 years old and still functioning properly is a testament to MacGraw Edison – the company that owned the Toastmaster brand. What electrical appliance do YOU have in your home that’s that old and is still in use? And looks like a million bucks?
I don’t know if you’ll see this or not but I sure would like a video on electric skillet review
Hello. I just finished watching the "Science: The Secrets of Cooking Rice — The Cause of Recipe Failure is Not What You Might Think" video, and I have a question. If the cooking vessel's evaporation is a key factor in cooking rice, it is better to cook rice in a tight vessel like an Instant Pot instead of a high-end $300+ rice cooker like a zojirushi. It is easier to justify a multitask cooker like an Instant pot than an expensive single task rice cooker.
I can’t Hhhheeeeaaaaarrrr youuuuu…
I like this casual Q& A format
Thermal shock cracked the glass on the door of my stove
I'm super excited about the new series!!!!
