I really enjoyed your video! I have retired recently and am about to embark on my bread baking journey. This looks like a great place to start. I would have liked to see you cut into the bread so as to see how the inside turned out and what it should look like. Guess it will be revealed when I make mine! 🙂 Thanks again for the inspiration!!!
Oh. My. Goodness. This video gives me the confidence to make my own bread! Thank you so much!!
perfect bread baking lesson. simple is always best. thank you
Where have you been all my life? I've been wanting to learn how to bake bread but since becoming disabled I have put it off because I have arthritis and I cannot knead the dough. I have a couple of questions for you. I do not have that basket that you did your second proofing in. What could I use in place of it? I have two different glass bread pans that are of different sizes, but they have no lids. Could I use those for the proofing and then also use them to bake the same bread in? Then what could I use as a lid since they don't have them? Could I bake in the smaller pan and use the bigger as a lid? It will fit over leaving room as if it were a rounded lid. As for using the skillet for the round bread I do have skillets and the biggest I have is a 12 inch. My only thing is, is I don't have a ceramic Dutch oven. I have non-stick cookware. So am I able to use my non-stick and if so could you tell me if temperatures and cooking times would be different? I would love to be able to bake them in the same vessels that you did, but being on disability I wouldn't be able to afford them. So I have to use what I have. Any tips you could give this novice bread maker would be great. If I'm being honest I cheat and I buy the frozen bread loaf in the freezer section of my grocery and I follow the instructions for baking. I love fresh baked bread, but as I stated I have quit the quest to learn how to make it due to my arthritis and disability. I can't wait to watch other videos. I also have silicone bakeware if that helps with anything. I have a 9×11, an 8in round and a heart shape roughly 8-9in. I also have silicone cupcake containers that are all individual and regular metal cupcake pans if I could take any of this dough and make essentially more of a dinner roll instead of loaves of bread. Maybe one of them could be made into an actual loaf and the others into dinner rolls? I'm sorry I wrote a book as my family says, but I look forward to hearing from you with any tips and ideas that you have. I subscribed and hit the notification bell. I look forward to more videos. PS I love what I see of your kitchen. I'm jealous.💜😋🥖🍞
I really like the counter and drainboard you have there. It looks like wood. I always wanted to do something like that. And wood is more sustainable than what they use these days. Trouble is finding someone to do it.
Bread looks yummy. I am getting old and kneading is no fun anymore.
Wow…..just wow. This guy is so stupid.
Any bread with 4 ingredient doesn't have enough fiber to be healthy to eat. Wheat flour isn't a healthy choice in the first place. That's why most countries in the world don't bake with it. There are lots of healthy alternatives. Do some research
3 cups flour ?
1 cup = …grams ?
Wow. I am so impressed and happy I found your channel! Gonna make these 2 breads stat. Thank you.

Oh! How I love your videos. . My neighbor taught me how to make sourdough bread. While proofing we enjoyed your videos. Oh your such an excellent teacher. After observing you we decided you were an engineer. Are we correct?
Great instructor. Lovely to listen to and super instructional. Thankyou
Just found this video!!!❤❤❤❤. I am going to try these for thanksgiving next week. I love how you explain the methods and tools used. I am on the hunt for a proofing basket and that loaf pan thing. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about that hot, fresh bread. The butter dish is scared!

If I don’t have the Dutch oven or the stone baking tray, would it be possible to get the same quality of bread?
