When I get my steak wild I do like to use a steak cage. Sassy buggers!
Didn’t know eating healthy could be so easy. Love being able to load it up with fresh veggies and walking away. No need to stay in the kitchen to supervise what’s cooking MyBest.Kitchen Takes no time learning how long to cook and at what temp. If you are cooking for 1 or 2 people this is a great size.
TLDW: yes
America's Test Kitchen: Eating french fries in the name of SCIENCE!
You didn't review the Big Boss and similar air fryers?
I held off on an air fryer for a very long time. I'm disabled and if I knew what I could cook in that air fryer back then I would have purchased one the day they came out! I make stuffed peppers and omelets and meatloaf and pretty much anything I can do in my oven only faster.
I have a toaster oven that has a convection setting, and to me that seems like the best of both worlds. You get the "mini, self-contained convection oven" perks of the air fryer, but without needing to buy a whole new appliance, since a toaster oven is also something that's good to have anyway, so the device isn't single-purpose.
"You don't splatter oil all over your cooktop!"
So after establishing that air fryers aren't really comparable to deep frying, we're gonna compare them with deep frying?
yes..yes it's bad..blow dried food seems silly.
Another sold soul
Cool technology. No oil needed, it's like hot plate or baking but with hot air.
wow. another shitty phillips ad. of course companies killed youtube.
Our toaster oven is starting to fail and I came across this video while researching a replacement. The question occurred to me: "should I replace the toaster oven with a slot toaster and air fryer?" Would appreciate any thoughts. Thx.
People use "that" way too much…..most of the time unnecessarily
I would highly recommend a air fryer to parents of small kids, if you often cook food for just one to three people or often cook with very limited time.
My lunches when I study at home, and my leftovers has really improved with the air fryer.
I barely use my microwave for anything anymore except defrosting.
Because the air fryer is almost as fast, just as convenient, and makes things actually more delicious instead of the microwave that tends to sort of make what ever goes in a bit worse.
I personally prefer it over an toaster oven. I just think the food taste better in the air fryer and it’s more convenient. Though they have slightly different uses.
The result you get of the food tasting in comparison to the time and effort you need to put in, is pretty amazing.
It’s crazy how much gadget we have in our Kitchen!
I really like these videos but here, there, and everywhere nobody looks at how much functional counter space/cabinet space you have. I have about as much space in my kitchen as a small trailer kitchen set up, with no power outlet that is easy to get to. While I'd like a lot of the stuff out there, I just don't have space.
Had a Phillips air fryer for the past year. It's great except like many on the market, it's got a non-stick coating which is horrible. Not worth recommending due to this. Manufacturers need to get rid of their dependence on that toxic stuff.
It taints your food. Going to switch to a stainless steel. Reputable review sites should not recommend these products.
Got a Breville toaster/convection oven that's got this same coating. Just recently changed out the pizza and baking pans to stainless steel and the taste difference is remarkably noticeable and there is not that toxic smell leaching out like before.
Do yourself a favor and don't get anything with non-stick coating, no matter what they try to tell you about it being safe now. Rest assured, IT'S NOT!
just like what I thought. before I tried to figure out the working method of air fryer.I thought it's a new technology that improves our cooking, But later I found out it's just another convection oven where they use a fan to circulate hot air around the food.they probly have smaller space that make their cooking more efficient.
Shes clearly with big kitchen appliance. You cant fool me
Air fryer is Garbage. it is a pain to clean the fan and heating element. piece of turd
Today's toaster ovens have convection, rotisseries, and broilers. They also have a much larger cooking capacity and are far more versatile than butt-ugly air fryers. By the way, toaster ovens cost less than air fryers.
Are you Chelsea Handler's Sister..?
"in 2019, this list helped me decide for the best air fryer scafe.shop/tbaf2019?xR hope it helps you out too!"
you know… Its SAD to see Emeril Lagossy Ads for Air fryers in front of these videos… he was So huge… Once upon a time…
So, if it works like a small convection oven, could I not just buy a mesh-style tray for my toaster oven that's already a tiny convection oven?
So if you already have a normal convection oven it's not necessarily useful .
If your microwave has convection cooking is this the same thing?
Wicked good video! Informative been wondering about them with the infomercials and all. Think I'll be sticking to my stove fer
now.lol. Thanks and keep up the good work! Well done!
I find it funny how I learned about air fryers because i started looking up the idea of cooking food in a high pressure environment. Thus you put the food in pretty much an oven then increase the air pressure by injecting hot air until you get like maybe 5 bar or higher. Thus you try to mimic the heat transfer rate of hot oil by just increasing air pressure.
I have a four-quart Nesco roaster that I use for meatloaf and well, roasting. It also does a fine job of keeping food warm and goes from 250 to 450. I make jambalaya in it, steam puddings in it, stuffed peppers, etc. I also have an 18 quart that I can actually bake in and I use it for turkey, ham, and ribs. Considering I only fry about once every three or four months, and I have a Nesco, I don't think I need this. Thank you for an excellent video and helping me make up my mind.
They don’t sit they are used like a microwave
If I cooked food on a rack in a circulating air toaster oven, the difference would be?
Nice zesty delivery 😉
bahahaha so it's good for teenagers, college kids and the accident prone among us. Good to know!
We have a small one that our daughter primarily uses for things like frozen chicken tenders, hot pockets and the like.
I know, nothing I would eat, but she is at that ‘bottomless pit ‘ age and it saves on sanity.
I have a Power Air Fryer it's a beast I use it often so It's not an ornament. Nor decor I also have a countertop convection oven I use them both like the air fryer better.
Then why don’t I just put it in my toaster over on the convection feature?
Very informative video! Learned what I needed to know in a very short amount of time. Great job!
disgusting meat bro
is it bad I want Hannah?
I tried some fries from one once, and they were yucky.
What a great idea for a series, EXCELLENT!
Is it bad that I don't 'skim' my meat stocks? I don't I'm not looking for clear broth I'm looking for flavor and 'soup' or 'stew'.
Is it bad that I use a utility knife?
I love so much the way the Hannah explains things!
