Hey family!! In today’s video we’re cooking supper, making breakfast banana bars, and taking the ducks for their first splash in the water!

Banana Breakfast Bars:
Ingredients:
2 medium bananas spotted ones that are a little past their prime
¼ cup vegetable or coconut oil
¼ cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ cup all purpose flour
1 cup old fashioned oats
Drizzle for top:
¼ cup chocolate chips
1 tablespoon peanut butter

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray an 8×8” or 9×9” pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Mash bananas with a fork in a large bowl until just small chunks remain. Stir in oil and brown sugar. Add egg, vanilla, and salt, and stir until combined. Stir in baking soda. Add flour and oats and stir until mixed, some lumps will remain. Spread in prepared pan.
Bake for 18-22 minutes until browned around the edges and not jiggly in the center. Cool completely. Slice into bars.
Drizzle:
Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter in a small microwave safe bowl. Place melted chocolate in a small ziploc bag with the tip cut off and drizzle over bars.

I made some breakfast bars similar to those but my add in's were raisins, pumpkin seeds, oatmeal, cashews, peanuts, granola, peanut butter, Coconut, sunflower seeds, marshmallows, and I think the last ingredient was chocolate chips if I'm not mistaken but I didn't do the drizzle on top I just cut them into squares and dipped them in some melted chocolate and vanilla candy bark

  27. Awww those ducklings and chicks. So cute! Everything looked so yummy, too. I'm making a big pot of Great Northern Beans tomorrow and cornbread. I have my great-grandma's iron skillet and I love to use it. I'm living a little vicariously through you right now. We are getting about five inches of snow tonight and it takes us until about June to get to upper 60s and hit that 70s mark. All of my fam is in TN which I love but boy is it sticky! Appreciate y'all so, so much.

  33. We are under a severe Thunderstorm warning over 70 MPH winds. It’s raining 🌧️ storming bad here in Tn. Wish we had your beautiful weather. I can’t wait to be able to decorate my outside for spring. 2 weeks ago we had really high winds and a lot of people lost trees,electricity and had damage to their homes. Praying everything will quiet down soon. Keep us in your prayers. Have a wonderful weekend!

    Your dinners and desserts are so delicious that I find my mouth always watering, lol! And that banana breakfast bar so scrumptious. I’m always amazed and excited to see what’s cooking next.😊😊
    Oh how cute looking at the ducks taking their first dips in the water. The kids were excited as were we at home. Miss Turkey has found a wonderful n safe home. Can’t believe how big the chicks differently than the duck.
    Jonah, loved your legos yesterday and loved the ones you crested for today and listen to Manley naming every single one.😊
