An easy way to mix this and avoid a mess would be to mix the marinade in a ziplock bag before you put in the meat. Then add the meat to the bag and shake the bag. Don’t make the bag air tight but leave some air so the meat can freely move in the bag. This keeps your hands mostly clean and you don’t have to use a bowl. Just put the ziplock bag in the fridge for storage. This works pretty well with most marinades and you do this with vegetables if you want your veggies to have an even coating of any seasoning. I don’t recommend putting anything hot in it as it might melt the plastic and sharp bones can pierce the plastic
Why don’t you add all the dry ingredients to the liquid and mix it up before adding the meat? Would make mixing a lot easier
