  1. This recipe is awesome, made it a few times now – satisfying and tasty. Don't be afraid to put a nice big handful of fresh spinach in there, as it will wilt and mix right into the sauce. I also like to stir in a sliced, cooked chicken breast. Also, I just found at my local supermarket a sodium-free condensed cream of mushroom soup (Campbell's makes it), which is better, as it gives you more control of the seasoning (saltiness) of the dish. Cheers!

  2. Thanks for a great recipe! I've been looking for a different take on my 5.5 year old's beloved mushroom "skettapee" and this is it 😀 love that I can use the can of mushroom soup that's been hiding out in my cupboard too. Just goes to show that you can make a delicious, restaurant-quality meal with cheap store cupboard ingredients! 🍄I don't have fresh or dried thyme sadly, so I'll sub Italian seasoning which does contain thyme. I'm not a big fan of breadcrumbs either so I'll skip those. Will try with American style egg noodles (which look like fusilli pasta). Using Baby Bella and shiitake mushrooms as that's what I happen to have in the fridge! Hopefully my two little girls eat it! 🙏🏽
