  1. 1/3 cup water WAY too much for sauce recipe. use 1 tablespoon of water. you want the sugars in the sauce to caramelize a little in the hot wok QUICKLY or you make the broccoli soft and the water can't evaporate fast enough in the wok.

    huge huge mistake with water in recipe.

  2. I made this tonight but I didn’t have cornstarch so I used flour and I didn’t have Chinese white wine so I used white wine vinegar and boy oh boy my husband scraped his plate I paired it with white rice and eggs rolls 😋
