Ingredients:
* Kane fish (lady fish) – 750 gram

For gravy:
* Coriander seed – 2 tbsp
* Cumin (jeera) – 3/4 tsp
* Ova (ajwain) (Carom seed)- 1/4 tsp
* Methi (fenugreek seed)- 1/2 tsp
* Rai (mustard seed) – 1/4 tsp
* Black peppercorns – 3/4 tsp
* Kashmiri red chilly – 5-6
* Fresh coconut – 2.5 cup
* Garlic cloves – 7-8, roughly chopped
* Onion – 1 small, roughly chopped
* Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
* Water – 2.5 cup, add gradually
* Tamarind (imli) – lemon size (soaked in 3/4 cup water for 20-25 min)

Other ingredients:
* Water to adjust consistency – 1 cup + 1.5 cup
* Salt as per the taste
* Onion – 1 small, finely chopped
* Green chilly – 4-5
