  2. I'm really glad that you made these Wes – I'm still watching your video, and I admire people who try to "perfect" PSMF breat – even though I personally do not like it. The only one i've half liked has been Indigo Nili's "butter bread" It was okay = but there are keto breads that are much much better. If I were trying to break a weight stall, etc. I'd consider throwing in a few days of PSMF with this type of bread – other than that – it's a solid no for me. I cannot get past the texture – it is like styrofoam, and most of the time is dry./chokie. TY though bc I truly appreciate every single video you do. I wish you would do some recipes using Victorias flour blend 2.0 with bamboo fiber – I have made some really really good bread using that flour blend. I've also made keto pastries, keto gravy (the sausage gravy was absolutely amazing)

  3. You gotta try Keto Upgrade Low Carb/ High Protien bread. It has great bread flavor. If you put max amount allulose it does taste little sweet. But still great. I will varying the allulose to figure out which one is the one I like the most. Allulose is 20g to 80 g. Have you tried her recipe yet? If not you really should. Just went keto June 2023. Found my bread.

  4. Okay, so briefly, โ€œcream of tartarโ€ is an old-fashioned name for potassium bitartrate. Itโ€™s an essentially tasteless, colorless, acidic salt that precipitates out of wine as it ages, and often accumulates naturally on the corks in well-aged wine bottles, appearing as little clear crystals on the surface of the cork that was in contact with the wine. Sometimes itโ€™s seen on the sides and bottom of the wine bottle itself. It has the effect of stabilizing egg whites (and heavy cream, and other foods), making them whip higher and stay that way longer during cooking, but youโ€™d have to ask a food scientist why it works! Wikipedia has a good article on it.

  6. Thank you for this. Just tried Marie's version for the first time and overcooked my first batch if buns and was hard fiam on the outside. Then I did a 2nd batch and tried a loaf and again came out looking like foam. Not bad tasting but the trxture bothers me a bit. Thought I was doing something wrong, but yiur came out the same. Thanks for the honest review. Guess Ill be making french toast for awhile. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Ill try the other version after

  8. Both "cream of tartar" and "dental tartar" are named after the Tartar people, as are tartar sauce and steak tartare. The Europeans saw the Tartars as hostile, savage, and violent, so they called various other things with those attributes after the Tartars.
    Cream of tartar is an acid that forms as a byproduct of wine-making. Because it tastes sour, it feels like it's attacking your mouth, hence violent, hence "tartar."
