  1. Kimberly Snyder way of life is not that expensive. Personally if I was alone I could go a month with her suggested food for $150-200 very easily (buying organic and all other things). It's really doable actually and I am not a rich person … I am a very hard working PhD student who works 12-14 hours day 7 days a week… and this is the best part …. eating healthy food like this makes you happier with less bitter/angry feelings 🙂 It's fantastic!! You should try it 🙂

  2. Amazon is always cheaper than any store. For example acai is 24.99 or more in a normal store. In amazon it's 17.49. If you buy $25 worth of stuff they will ship for free. I usually get my items within 3-5 days, super fast(unless the item is back ordered).

  3. Thanks, Kimberly. I'm severely ill. You can read about my illnesses in the first* blog post at treatng.blogspot .com (no space), see date November 2012. I'll try this smoothie. My family still can't find acai berries.

  4. Kimberly, your books are changing my life! I really feel and see a POSITIVE difference on how I digest food now. It's not perfect yet, as I think I'll need a long-time transition but I'm sure I'll succeed. Thank you! 😀

  5. It could be that you aren't digesting fruit well because you have a candida issue and need to stay away from sugars (including fruit) for awhile. Or you may just need to do some colon cleansing. (or both)

  6. I think it's actually important to pre-soak the chia seeds since it really "swells" in the body and takes the body's liquids away. I personally don't like chia because it makes me so bloated. Also despite it's high nutrient content, I doubt that this was eaten regularly by the indigenous groups (there are legends about chia, but I'm skeptical) due to its low palatability. Other than that, thank you for the recipe.
