The KING of all Bread Puddings…

King Cake Bread Pudding
– 1 King Cake
– 4 Cups Heavy Cream
– 3 Eggs
– 1 Cup Sugar
– 1 Bag White Chocolate Morsels
– 1/4 Cup Melted Butter
– 1 TSP Vanilla Extract

Directions:
1. Prepare pellet grill for indirect cooking at 350 degrees.
2. Grease a 9×11โ€ baking dish with butter.
3. Cut king cake into small pieces and place in a large mixing bowl. Pour heavy cream over cake and soak for 30 minutes
4. Combine eggs, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla in a separate bowl. Add white chocolate morsels and stir to combine. Pour egg mixture over soaked king cake and stir to combine
5. Pour mixture into baking dish and place on smoker for 1 hour or until top has browned and bread pudding has set.
6. Remove from smoker and drizzle with White Chocolate Rum Sauce (recipe below)
7. Garnish with colored sugars.

White Chocolate Rum Sauce
– 1 Cup Heavy Cream
– 2 TBSP Butter
– 1 Package White Chocolate Morsels
– 1oz Dark Rum
Directions:
1. Melt butter in small pot over medium heat. Add heavy cream and rum bring to slight simmer.
2. Slowly add white chocolate morsels while stirring. Pour mixture into jar until ready to use.
