I got this giant block of Kobe beef, so I made it into the best roast beef rice bowl I’ve ever had. Even using normal beef, the sauce goes so well with it!
[Ingredients]
Desired amouont of Kobe beef, wagyu, or any other kinda beef really
Salt & pepper, olive oil
Rice, desired veggies, an egg
[Sauce Ingredients]
1/6 grated onions
1.5 tbsp each of soy sauce, sake, mirin
1 tbsp honey
1. Cover room temperature meat in salt & pepper.
2. Sear all sides in high heat in olive oil, leave the pan for later.
3. Roast in preferred method and to desired doneness. In video, roasted at 100C / 210F targeting internal meat temp of 120 – 125 F. Meat therometer a must.
4. Tent it with aluminum foil for a few minutes, temp will rise about 10 F.
5. Make sauce by adding the above ingredients in previous pan, bring to boil.
6. Cut it up into desired thickness, put on top of bowl of rice along with desired toppings and sauce..

“I love having rich friends, highly recommend it.” 😂 I didn’t really enjoy it that much but if the gifted mea big slab of Kobe beef we’d be friends for life! Ate it in 2006 at Four seasons Bangkok and dreamt about it til 2019 when I had a 6 hour layover at Narita and took the airport train and changed metro station twice just so I could eat it again. So bloody worth it! 🤤
Love you and your vids btw! Delicious and highly entertaining. ❤ Thank you! ☺️
