Directions:
1. Make the sauce: in a bowl mix brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper and red chili flakes. set aside.
2. In a large skillet heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add ginger and garlic, cook for 1 minute. Increase to high heat, add the ground beef and cook, breaking it into crumbles, until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease.
3. Pour the sauce over the ground beef, add 1/2 of the chopped green onions and let simmer, stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes.

  1. I used this as my meal prep for the week. Yall, try it. It's so good and simple to whip up! And it's so versatile! I used turkey burger, mushroom and onions in mine(just for some bulk) and oh my lanta! So flavorful and delicious!

A great dish for a quick meal!

  2. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I really didn't think this would be as good as it was. IT WAS GREAT!!!! (One detail, but use at your own risk). My wife added a half a teaspoon of some Thai "Instant Spicy Coconut Paste" by Tom Kai Ka. Since I only ate it once (and that was with the coconut paste), I can't compare it. I'm sure it's just as good without the coconut paste, but the coconut paste added some ZING!). 👍 THANK YOU COOKING FOODIE!!

  3. So delicious! I’m not the best at cooking, but luckily I can brown hamburger lol. This is so good that I’ve actually made it two weeks in a row now. Great to meal prep with for work. I keep wanting more every time I eat it! Thank you for this awesome recipe.

  4. while it sounds super incredibly weird, if you have any leftovers, make mac and cheese (start with a bechemel, add cheese and noodles, none of that kraft stuff) and mix it in, coat in ketchup. its comparable to jenna marble's garbage plate if you know what that is. it's so incredibly good
