Thank you for watching my Korean Style Smoked Pork Belly video. On this video, I cooked some pork belly and took it to a whole new level by adding a Korean twist. I made some homemade Korean BBQ sauce and glazed the pork belly until the pork belly was nice and sticky…the flavors were so amazing!
Thanks for watching

Just pulled the finished product out of the smoker and wow. It's definitely worth making. I did substitute the Gochujang for Sriracha because that's what I had. Putting these on some skewers with veggies on the grill for dinner over rice.
Dang! I didn't eat this good during my tour to Korea…gonna have to try this one! π π₯ π₯
Thank you for sharing this recipe chef! Love your extremely easy to follow instructions as well. Great video quality and audio. I follow you on TikTok as well (Sauce It Up!).

Darn good looking Korean Style Smoked Pork Belly!!! I know we can't eat these often, but they are so good π€€π Thanks for sharing your recipe on the Korean Bbq sauce, that alone is something you can include in other dishes! Another great video from Smokin' Joe's Pit BBQ! π» ππΌ
could you do this on a Webber grill ?
Nice that there's no skin on the PB. Do you have a video where you smoke a PB with the skin on?
Can you use those pellets on a treager pellet smoker?
Sweet baby Jesus!! π
I was gifted a Traeger I haven't used yet. I want to try this recipe out when I get some of those pecan pellets as my first pellet grill cook. I'd keep it simple and serve with some steamed rice and charred bok choy. Damn. Excellent result, Joe!
Love some good pork belly but I gotta try that Korean bbq sauce
excelente video joe sigue asΓ saludos

Another great video from Smokin Joe.

why not cut into cubes from the beginning? get some bark all over instead of just 2 sides.
Heck yeah Joe this looks fantastic. I love that Korean BBQ sauce on chicen and ribs too. ππΌ
Another awesome recipe from Smokin' Joe! I have a pork belly in the freezer that isn't quite cut right for bacon, but it will make some nice burnt ends.
Just pulled me pork belly outta da freezer. Love ya Joe!
So u did 4 hours and 20 minutes. So u didnβt go to a certain temperature? Cause no mention of it.
Great looking cook! Iβm in love with Korean food! I made a video a few weeks ago cooking Korean Brisket tacos but now I want it with this pork belly!
Thank you Joe for the video and the Korean BBQ Sauce Recipe. I will be trying this for sure.
I must make this!
It looks KILLER!
I guess Iβll start my diet next week!

I'm definitely going to add this to my bbq menu. Great video, as always!
Smokin' Joe's Korean BBQ Sauce:
1 C soy sauce
1 1/2 C brown sugar (prefer dark)
2 Tblsp minced ginger
12 cloves of minced garlic
2 Tblsp sesame oil
5 Tblsp honey
1 Tblsp black pepper
2 Tblsp gochujang paste
Stir to boil.
Make slurry: 4 tsp of cornstarch add 2 Tblsp of water. Mix till no clumps and stir into sauce till sauce thickens.
Definitely giving this a try π
need some ssamjang to pair with that pork belly, not just gochujang
Question for ya. Why don't you want one pork belly slab to drip on the other slab in the smoker?
Time for some belly
Why did you place them on a separate rack? Any difference?
Looks so good. The pork belly and burnt ends turned out really well. Cheers, Joe! ππ»ππ»βοΈ
Great demos!
I've only done pork belly burnt ends once and I don't think I got them rendered as they were still relatively fatty. This looks delicious though. That Korean style BBQ sauce looks great too.

This incessant desire to put "green" on meat!! If I want a salad, I eat a salad. π
I'd try it. It's not at the top of my list of things to try but it looks really good….
what are the big black pieces in rub?
Hi Joe, Why you couldn't put both pans of pork belly on top? You had plenty of room.
Looks amazing, Joe! That pork belly is definitely π₯π₯. Awesome cook!! Have a fantastic weekend, brother πΊ
Cant be. First on a Joe video!
You said flexable bellies, but why?
