1 small boneless pork loin roast (2 to 2 1/2 pounds)
1 cup Naranja Agria (sour orange) or (substitute 2 parts lemon to 1 part orange juice)
4 tablespoons crushed garlic
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
salt & pepper to taste
1 large onion sliced

Forgive the unsolicited correction, but marinate is a verb. The noun is marinade (from the Latin marinus from, of, as the sea), as in, "Pour the marinade over the pork."

Although there are many variations in the recipe to cook lechon, you cannot get a more traditional, raw, and authentic recipe than this. Good job. I like to slice up my pernil then marinate it. Just a lil variation. Could you post a video on how to make the skin nicce and crispy?
