Linguine Alle Vongole! 🐚 🇮🇹



Ingredients

3 Tbsp olive oil
5 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp red pepper flakes
¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
2 lb littleneck clams
⅔ cup white wine
1 cup cherry tomatoes
1 lb linguine
Salt & pepper

Toc start, heat the olive oil in a large pan. Once hot, add the garlic, red pepper flakes and tomatoes. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Then add the white wine and the clams then cover with a lid and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the clams open. Add the cooked pasta and a little pasta water. Toss vigorously, then add the parsley and season to taste with salt & pepper.

  1. Not bad at all… i'm not sure about the garlic. I prefer not to put any (and 5 cloves is a lot). Moreover, there is a none negligible risk of burning it. Good job not doing it here. I also would add pepper just after tossing the pasta.
    Otherwise, I'm positively impressed. God job kid. Keep cooking !

  2. Make sure your water is boiling highly bubbling. I only use diCecco pasta and squeeze the seeds out of your tomatoes. Nobody wants that shit in there dish. Are you trying to be a cook? Are you just trying to cook for yourself?
