  1. Watching this video just totally made my day. Lisa, you are such a perfect blend of personality traits, that you are truly a joy to watch. ATK has such a perfect blend of people and personalities. This video has the rank right up there with the sticky buns episode. Love you guys!

  2. Oddly enough, a round bottomed wok on an electric stoves works just as well. It's almost impossible to burn, as all the popped kernels) "float" above the unpopped ones. ie they are lifted out of the hot zone that is just a tiny point of contact. I use my round bottomed wok on a 3 ring gas burner outside, but I make popcorn on an induction cooker with my wok. Only mabe 3cm of the bottom is heated.

  3. My wife has been popping popcorn in a round bottom wok for many years. By far out favorite method and used weekly here. Put popcorn in pan, put in enough coconut oil and real butter to barely cover the kernels, put lid on, let pop until done. No shaking, now stirring.

  4. Lisa, can you speak to the corn used? I make popcorn at home on the stove top all the time and it seems that different brands of corn yield really different popcorn. Anything ATK has learned about the kernel itself?? Thank you!

  5. Lisa why can’t we be asked to wash our lid! Honestly single use piece of foil and garbage forever. Let’s get back to basics how hard is it to use warm soapy water? Otherwise great work as always.

  6. We love making our popcorn like this! I make everyone be quiet so I can hear the kernels pop. Haha After the popcorn is ready, I add a piece of butter to the warm wok and then toss the popcorn. Delish!

  7. "I'm gonna get in such trouble"….why, are Bridget, Julia, Dan, Becky, Lan, Elle, Keith, Erin, Adam, and Jack standing around glaring at you tapping their foot? No, we know they're just off camera convulsing in laughter….and so is the "Cooks Country" team…ROTFL
