  1. Love the warm weather advice! It's a difficult balancing act. Almost lost me for a minute when you said "stone chinos" instead of "stone and white seersucker trousers" but you won me RIGHT back with "brother eww!"

  2. Hallo, ich wüsste gerne ihre Meinung zu kurzarm Hemden, da dies in der Herrenmode sehr umstritten ist und jeder Männerkanal eine andere Meinung vertritt.

  3. Gonna be honest here. I bought a sport coat from JCPenny last year, but it’s perfect for warmer weather. It’s sand color and made of cotton. It was only about $100 and it goes with a lot of my wardrobe and it’s much lighter weight than my other jackets. It does have a synthetic lining but you can’t win them all.

  4. For a casual summer BBQ I find it best to go with a polo shirt, short sleeve shirt or a linen shirt with the sleeves rolled up and for the lower body either chino shorts or linen shorts (or your swimming trunks if there’s a pool). For shoes go with either loafers or espadrilles. Pants look too stuffy, not casual or relaxed enough and too out of place at a bbq even if they are linen pants.

If someone showed up to my bbq in pants mid summer I would be like why are you wearing pants but in New Zealand people know to turn up in shorts to a bbq.

  5. Every time I watch your videos, I can't help but think that in today's culture, dressing with taste can unfortunately draw attention for the wrong reasons. A lack of refinement has made sophistication stand out, often attracting stares that miss the mark. In a world where subtlety is overshadowed by excess, dressing well can feel like a spectacle instead of a statement of style.

  6. As someone who lives in the subtropics, I stopped wearing polo shirts in summer years ago. A lightweight short sleeve button up shirt in cotton or linen is always cooler and allows for better airflow than a polo shirt in my experience. For the typical casual situation I pair with cotton/linen blend shorts and boat shoes or loafers.

  7. I never wear shorts or short sleeved shirts*) outside: keeping the sun from hitting my skin! Breathability is key. My favourite choice is linen here. Even outside the US you have the right to bare arms, but I don't have to exercise this right.

*) Everybody (everybody?) keeps saying that short sleeved shirts under jackets are a no go. I beg to differ: A short sleeved shirt under a linen sportsjacket, for me, is a great semi casual outfit with a hint of formality.
