I just made it last night. Hadn't seen your recipe but seems like I did something very close…put spices in I thought would make it delicious. While this dish is a good one for family meals….pasta and butter, oh my! Could eat it all by itself (just add salt and pepper). PS…I love your glasses!!!

I have been making this recipe for years and it is my daughter's favorite. I just recently made it for her for mother's day.

Never had this growing up. I’m Italian but I learned from southern cooks here in FL that they put onions/green pepper, smoked sausage in their sauce (I call it red gravy) 😂 and it changes the whole dish! That’s good as well!
