Jamie is such a hoot. I like the bloopers and mishaps. Keeps things “footloose and fancy free.” Never had non-chocolate brownies, but I’m intrigued by the idea. I assume these are chewy orangey goodness; chewy like regular brownies. Sounds yummy. I would’ve inverted them from the pan before frosting them to avoid having to cut them in the pan.
Reminds more of a cake than brownies.

Those look really tasty. Wouldn't those be closer to blondies? I just LOVE blondies. I like them more than brownies and who doesn't like a brownie? Would the caramel notes of brown sugar work with the orange?

Jamie we’ve never heard of Orange Brownies, just to go to show you you’re never old to here about new things🙂. My wife has made chocolate brownies, blondies, so now she’ll make these & call them “Orangies”lol. Your Mama has raised two wonderful boys who have become two wonderful men. Jamie you should have not been embarrassed to lick the spatula & scraped the bowl while on camera.🙂
You didn't need the extract. Just use the juice from the orange. I do when I make these.
