Sliced tomatoes with salt, pepper and a dollop of cottage cheese.
A bit more black pepper on the cottage cheese. Dish done.
When I was a little girl, my mom usually cut rectangles. But on occasion, she would cut triangles saying let's have party sandwiches, it's a special day. Because of that, my husband always cuts my sandwich party style!

Delicious 😋 but for me no Mayo
I put a thin coat of ranch dressing (also don't like mayo, so make with sour cream) on a rye crisp, thick slice of tomato with balsamic viniagrette drizzled on top, salt & pepper.
I like the method of showing the ingredients repeatedly with the arrow moving down the list. It kind of let's you review things that came before. This recipe isn't too difficult, but I could see that being great for other video recipes that are more complicated, so you don't have to search times and go back to the very beginning and then try to skip back to where you were.
Well this just inhanced my bacon lettuce and Tomato 🍅 texas toast sandwich 🥪. Thanks Ashley.

I like tomato sandwiches but I like it better just on toasted bread or regular bread and just slices of tomato and mayo and salt and pepper what you done with the marinade I just don't care for stuff like that I like just the Tomato
I was waiting for this series! Ashley's so nice and the way she explains is lovely. My dream tomato salad: well… tomatoes, eggplant and garlic (a nice amount). Olive oil, dried basil and oregano, salt, pepper and enjoy.
Good idea, good recipe. Can we stop saying "¼ inch" when we really mean a "thick slab"? I keep hearing this inaccuracy among many YouTube chefs.

Omg. Some garlic toast, mozzarella cheese and some fresh basil, would make an Italian bruschetta sandwich.
Never, ever put your fresh tomato in the fridge! It kills the flavor.
I just learned about tomato sandwiches a couple years ago thanks to Kenji Lopez Alt and since then I've become addicted to them. My local farmer's market has a guy who sells only heirloom tomatoes and Thai basil and the tomatoes are the best! I never liked tomatoes, really, until I discovered his and now I'm obsessed.
Anyhow, tomato quality is key. And lots of napkins. I also like red onion thinly sliced, maybe lightly pickled, on the sandwich. And good crusty bread that can absorb all those tomato juices so they don't end up on your shirt.
OMG I used to be so obsessed with tomato sandwiches. My dad grew tomatoes, so they were fresh and delicious.

Fry tomato's in a frying pan, with mozella on top, season. Then put on the toast.
