Making tinned fish rolls with bread in the air fryer – a throwback to a very old recipe

Today we have gone back in time to the early 1990s when we did not have ready-made spring roll pastry, ovens or air-fryers but we still made a plan to make something different with ingredients we had on hand! This is one of those recipes, tinned fish rolls in the form of egg rolls or spring rolls but we have updated it for 2025!
Ingredients
1 can middle cut tinned fish
1 large onion, diced
1/4 cup oil
5 cloves garlic
salt and pepper to season
sprinkle of paprika
sprinkle of dried mixed herbs
juice of half a lemon
green chillies to your taste
For the rolls:
a few slices of white bread (use brown if you prefer)
eggs (beaten and seasoned)
breadcrumbs
