Ingredients:
1 cup mango pulp
1 ltrs milk
3/4 cup vermicelli
1 tbsp ghee
3/4 tsp cardamom powder
6 tbsp sugar
Almond and pistachio flakes
Mango pieces for garnish

Method:
– Heat some ghee and then roast the vermicelli and once color changes add milk to it and let it boil

– Add sugar and turn off the flame and add cardamom powder & add mango pulp

– Refrigerate the kheer and serve in bowl and garnish it with almond flakes, pistachio flakes & Mango pieces.

  1. The base kheer was tasty. Once I added mango pulp, it was ready for the garbage bin. Maybe the mangoes weren't ripe enough; they had a good flavor, but the mango pulp didn't give the kheer a mango flavor. It sucked all the flavor out, and made the flavor very plain, no sweetness, no cardamom coming through.
