I remember back in the 70s Breyers Vanilla ice cream had the real black vanilla beans/specks in it. It was the best-tasting vanilla ice cream❤

I never buy brown sugar. I mix my granulated sugar with however much black strap molasses needed to achieve the light or darkness needed for the recipe.
