Homemade meat pies are an excellent way to use up leftover ingredients. You can substitute whatever vegetables you like, and they’re delicious! A crispy, buttery savoury meal
Ingredients:
250g beef mince
1 large onion
1 TBSP minced garlic
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 large potatoes (approximately 600-700g)
450ml beef stock
1 TSP thyme
200g peas
1 TBSP worcestershire sauce
Pastry:
500g plain flour
250g butter
1 egg
100ml cold water (plus extra if needed)
Tip: don’t add the water to the dough all at once, slowly add just enough water so the dough begins to come together and combine

I donβt eat white potatoes, I was thinking this would be incredible with diced apple (maybe tart apples) instead of potatoes.
