Trying Meghan Sussex’s One-Pan Pasta Recipe. I recently watched ‘With Love, Meghan’ on Netflix, the new lifestyle and cooking show by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. In this video, I’m recreating one of the simple yet delicious recipes she made on the show: a one-pot pasta dish that’s effortlessly flavourful and easy to veganise by using plant-based cheese. This single-skillet pasta is made with fresh ingredients like juicy vine tomatoes, garlic, leafy greens (chard, kale, and rocket), zesty lemon, and vegan cheese for a creamy, savoury finish. Everything cooks together in one pan, making it perfect for a quick, fuss-free meal. Plus, the addition of red chilli flakes and fresh basil adds a little extra something. If you love quick vegan recipes, one-pot meals, or want an honest review of this dish from ‘With Love, Meghan’, then this is the video for you.

  1. I thoroughly enjoyed With Love Meghan and am glad that we’ll get a second season. I’ve been wanting to try this pasta dish ever since I watched that episode, and you’ve inspired me to bump it to the top of my recipe list. I think I’ll add some roasted garlic cloves and a ton of vegan parm. I’m so happy to have discovered your channel. Thank you for sharing!

  2. I just got Netflix so I’ll have to watch it. I would definitely make that pasta dish! Simple, clean nutritious meals are right up my alley! And the fact that the recipe comes together so easily & quickly is an added bonus on a busy weekday. I would also sauté the garlic first for about a minute to give it a nice caramelized flavor.

  3. I made the pasta dish, and it was delicious. I pre sauteed the garlic and added thyme, basil, oregano, and rosemary. I also added mushrooms and used a combo of homemade chicken broth and a can off the shelf. I cooked according to the directions, and it was a winner. Thank you for supporting Meghan and for the cooking details.

  4. Thanks for posting your interpretation. I cooked the recipe yesterday and have a couple of suggestions that may be more truthful to Megan Markle's recipe. 1 You forgot to include feta cheese with the tomatoes. This is critical as it gives the wanted creaminess. I opted for plain goat cheese that has a more defined flavor and melts better than feta cheese. As of the greens (Swiss Chard), Meghan sliced the entire stems and roughly tore the leaves. She does not cut them like you suggested and this is simply for flavor and aesthetic reasons This is very important. I also lowered the temperature after removing the lid so that the creaminess slowly builds up. If the water evaporate to fast, you cannot achieve this Italian flavor of creaminess with adding diary.
I hope you enjoyed your version as much as I did mine. Regarding the bad publicity of her show, I found that she had much difficulty to take her mind of of acting and simply being herself.

  5. An excellent, healthy dish. I will definitely try it. I am Italian and like to follow a simple diet for health reasons. The food we often see on TV is much too rich, Meghan's recipe is much appreciated by me
