Join Mindy Kaling and Hawa Hassan in the Tasty kitchen as they make Spicy Somali Pasta, or Suugo Suqaar. As a former Somali refugee, Hawa loves how this dish makes her feel nostalgic for home with all the spices of the Indian Ocean, like cinnamon, cloves, and turmeric. Follow along as Mindy discovers what it was like for Hawa and her family to flee Somalia, and the ways in which refugees and immigrants enrich society in so many ways.
